Participants at the Tazewell Teens Unlimited Teen Conference will be high school and junior high school students chosen to impact in the future.  Each student will take part in workshops relating to youth-issues.  Approximately 500 students from 6 high schools and 14 junior highs will attend the 28th annual Tazewell County Teen Conference at Illinois Central College on January 10, 2017.  The high school and junior high sessions will run simultaneously from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Keynote presentations will take place at 9:10 am and 12:00pm.  Workshops will occur from 9:00 am -1:00pm on a variety of topics.


Dr. Damon Arnold will be the keynote speaker at this year’s conferences.  He is currently the Director, LAKER Academic Success Center (athletic advising)/Special Associate to the Athletic Director at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.  His message is being the best version of yourself and working to achieve your dreams.
