Shingrix, a 2-dose vaccine, is up to 96% effective in preventing shingles and related complications in persons ages 50 and older. Shingrix is now fully covered by Medicare Part D insurance plans.
TCHD is offering the Shingrix vaccine at the Miller Center in Pekin on February 28 from 9:30 to 12:00.
