With a heavy heart, Tazewell County Health Department says farewell to Gordon Poquette, the first Director of Public Health, who served over 34 years. Gordon was a champion of public health, not only in Tazewell County, but throughout the state of Illinois. We lost a mentor, leader and friend. Our thoughts are with his family at this time of loss.
